International Academy of Professionals Limited
The Certified Training & Facilitation Specialist (CTFS) is a comprehensive professional certification designed to develop trainers, facilitators and learning professionals who can manage the complete learning and performance-improvement cycle.
Effective professional training requires considerably more than subject knowledge or confident presentation. A competent trainer must be able to investigate performance problems, determine whether training is the right intervention, define measurable outcomes, design evidence-informed learning experiences, facilitate diverse groups, manage resistance, support workplace application and demonstrate the value created by learning.
The CTFS programme addresses these requirements through twelve interconnected modules organised around the STAGE Model. The programme begins by establishing the professional identity of the modern trainer and the learning-science principles that govern adult learning. Participants then progress through five applied phases: diagnosing performance gaps, targeting measurable outcomes, architecting effective learning experiences, guiding learners through participation and practice, and evidencing behavioural and organisational change.
Throughout the programme, participants work with practical frameworks such as PROVEN, RELATE, PROBE, SHARP, BUILD, VOICE, SPACE, MATCH, CRAFT, PAUSE, PROOF and CHART. These frameworks create a shared professional language and help participants convert learning principles into repeatable workplace practices.
The programme emphasises application, observation, reflection and evidence. Participants are expected to produce practical outputs—including needs-analysis findings, learning objectives, session plans, facilitation demonstrations, training materials, evaluation plans and learning-analytics recommendations. Successful participants will therefore be equipped not only to deliver training, but also to design, facilitate, evaluate and continuously improve learning interventions that address genuine organisational needs.
